Job Description:

CCS Fundraising seeks a self-motivated, detail-oriented, and reliable individual to assist the CFO and Finance Leadership team. The Finance Assistant and Operations Associate will manage the day-to-day operations of the finance team, maintain the CFO’s calendar, and support the finance leadership team. The ideal applicant is a professional who holds confidential information, works independently, demonstrates good judgment, and looks for innovative solutions. 

This position reports to the VP of Financial Planning & Analysis.

Two Areas of Responsibilities:

Executive Assistant:

  • Act as assistant to CFO and Finance Leadership Team as required
  • Responsible for complete calendar management for Chief Financial Officer
  • Coordinates schedules and attends leadership meetings, including meeting minutes and necessary documentation for meetings and following up on action items
  • Set up finance meetings with senior management across the organization
  • Maintain monthly Finance Calendar including deadlines for audit and tax deliverables
  • Maintain out-of-office schedule for the entire finance team and ensure proper coverage is represented, escalating risk to the leadership team

Finance Operations:

  • Support implementation of finance-related initiatives from start to finish, including tracking key deliverables, key dates, and action items
  • Working closely with Controller’s team on tracking monthly close process
  • Working closely with the FPA team on weekly/monthly/quarterly/annual reporting requirements
  • Assist with gathering and execution of the finance’s full-year goals and objectives
  • Implement and assist with completing a Standard Operating Procedure initiative for each of the critical functions in the finance team
  • Tracking and building the budget for external vendor spend
  • Assist with coordination of Annual Budgeting process for a project management perspective

 

Qualifications:

  • 2-3 years of experience managing executive calendars
  • Proficient in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, Zoom
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality of client, company, and personnel information
  • Strong organizational skill, with the ability to prioritize and balance multiple initiatives
  • Independent worker with solid judgment and ability to make quick decisions
  • Demonstrate the ability to design and improve processes
  • Self-starter and ability to drive to execution
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Experience with NetSuite a plus

SALARY RANGE: $50,000-$75,000
